Easy Ways To Fight Off The Saturday Scaries

Want to get rid of stress? Read those steps

Do you ever feel stressed to the point that you can not do anything in your life? Do you feel that there is no way out? Maybe you have experienced those feelings specially on Saturday nights? What this video and come back if you share the same feeling for some tips

People deal with stress in different ways. "Saturday Scaries" is known as the anxiety that sets in on Saturday nights with the impending return to the office, school, or work. Some run away through sleeping, others like changing the atmosphere they’re at so they may go out or do something different to clear their mind before actually working on what they have to do. On the other hand, many believe that they work better under pressure, so they basically use the stress in a positive way to motivate them to get the work done. Rather than spending another Saturday like this, let’s talk about ways to fix the problem right from the moment you wake up.

Practice active leisure

Do an activity that you enjoy. No matter what it is, do something you love or enjoy instead of sitting and thinking of a bad decision that was taken the night before or a bad coincident that occurred and stressed you out the day before. This basically makes less room for your mind to focus or absorb what is stressing you. You'll be taken away by the distraction of being active.

Distract, Distract, Distract

Steven Meyers, professor of psychology at Roosevelt University in Chicago, Ill., spoke to Huffington Post on the topic, and noted, “Feeling of anxiety and depression are most common when the person is not particularly busy. So enjoyable activities that redirect your attention are especially important.” Keep yourself distracted as much as possible. It can be a great idea to do a recipe you fear cooking because you feel it is hard, or call a friend you haven't talked to in a while and talk about your lives so far. Anything that will make you happier or experience new simple things to take your mind away from mental breakdowns is a must.

  Go for a walk

Walk it out, as they say. Walking helps in fighting anxiety and in sweating out thoughts. It tends to give a sense of relief from the on-spot stress. Walking basically helps in changing the place and the atmosphere where the person feels stressed. Go out and breath some fresh air.

Treat Yourself

What is better than spoiling yourself with things you love all at once? Shop till you drop, go for your favorite coffee shop, or even go to a place that means a lot to you. Whatever it is that makes you feel nice. According to Nataly Kogan, CEO of Happier INC., a good way to avoid having a bad mindset heading into Saturday evening is to treat yourself to something nice.

Next time you wake up on a Saturday and feel anxious, know that you can follow simple steps, like the ones discoussed above, to ease the feeling of pressure as much as possible.

Syria's children suffered unimaginable violations where the feeling of wanting the time to stop begins. But on the 8th of December, a family came together to show those children how "home" can exist where they are right now. Fagr and her family took over a wide space in Al Mamzar Park in Dubai to spread out love and support for 70 Syrian refugees by entertaining those kids with all the fun activities any child would wish to practice. Fareeda Amr, a 17-year-old member of the supportive family, said: " We  realized how charity work and events that are carried for kids in need or poor people are mostly held in Ramadan, and barely any event takes place during the rest of the year.
